Custom kitchen remodeling project where we refaced the kitchen cabinets. The cabinets were refaced in Northern Contours Portabelle flat panel doors. The color of stain used was Snow White. We installed all new soft close hinges for the doors and added a frosted and reeded glass door to one of the upper cabinets. To complete the look we installed large crown molding around the top of the upper cabinets.
Custom kitchen remodeling project where we refaced and replaced some of the kitchen cabinets. The cabinets were remodeled with a Northern Contours door done in MDF/Thermofoil and Glacier White stain. A new stone tile backsplash was also added. Two new cabinets were added, one above the refrigerator and one on the opposite end which functions as a wine rack/storage cabinet. All doors have soft close features.
Customer wanted to get rid of the darker stained wood and take the upper cabinets up to the ceiling. She also wanted to eliminate the microwave above the range and add a hood. She wanted a microwave cabinet between the pantry unit and refrigerator. She also wanted to extend the island a little further for extra seating and storage space.
We added boxes on top of the upper cabinets, trimmed it with a scribe molding and added a base and large crown to trim it out around the top of the uppers. We removed the above-the-range microwave and cabinet above it and added a hood and ventilator. We moved the pantry over two feet and added a microwave cabinet and 4 drawer base (coffee bar). We extended the island 18” by adding a 2 drawer cabinet to the end.
The reface was with Northern Contours shaker ogee in snow white and the island was mist. New cabinets were bought through Cabinotch and refaced to match. The countertops are quartz with a super single stainless steel sink. We installed the owner provided tile and installed under cabinet lighting bought through Hardware distributors. The hood was also purchased through HDL and painted to match in our shop.
The owner wanted the base cabinets to look like furniture, so we added decorative panels on the ends and around the island. We also made feet for the bottoms of the base cabinets using a wide base molding, cutting the scroll and painting to match.
